A case of the Mondays
This morning it was hot and muggy. But it wasn’t raining. Praise Jesus. Of course JC made up for it on the ride home. Torrential downpour. The streets in my hood had several inches of water. I’m sick of the rain. Please stop.
Over the weekend I had a great experience with my MacBook Pro. On Friday I put Windows on the Bootcamp partition in an attempt to be able to do work on it since my work notebooks sucks ass. After putting Windows on it, it would start thinking it was overheating and shut down suddenly. So I exorcised Windows from it and and now it works fine. I still have XP and Office 2007 in a safe little Parallels box.
To compound matters technical, the check engine light on my car was on Saturday. I drove through a deep puddle of water because of the FUCKING RAIN and I think the oxygen sensor didn’t like that. The car is under warranty, and I do need scheduled maintenance, but it sucks having to go into the dealership. They don’t have a loaner for a week, so I’m going in and hanging out on Wednesday. They have wifi so I won’t be too bored. I’m just worried I do something stupid and buy a new car.
